The Ford F-series sales were slightly down for the month (-0.9%). Is this a bad sign for the new aluminum F-150, or does it simply need more time to fill the production and delivery pipeline?
The best improved full-size pickup truck in April 2015 was the Nissan Titan with an 8.6% sales increase. It’s still showing just 10% sales volume of fifth place Toyota Tundra. The 2016 Nissan Titan will not be available until the end of the calendar year.
The Chevy Silverado lineup is the best improved pickup truck in year-to-date (YTD) sales. It grew 14.7% in the first third of the year.
