• Muddiest Toyota Tacoma? How dirty is your truck? [Photo of the Day]

toyota, tacoma, mud, 4x4, pickup, truck, dirty, muddyThe Toyota Tacoma has a well-earned reputation for being extremely tough and reliable. As I cruised through South Denver, CO, I saw this muddied, bashed, beaten and abused Toyota Tacoma – I said, “Hallelujah! Now THAT’S how you treat a Taco!!!” I know it still runs as it moved to different parking locations throughout the week.

I know, some folks like to baby their trucks. I’ve read about those people and seen a few here and there. One of the issues I have is: if you own a truck, you MUST use it! What’s up with all of you adding wax, polishing, washing and caressing your mighty pickup trucks!?

Pickup trucks are meant to pull, leap, smash and carry. That’s what this dude (I’m assuming it’s a “dude”) did with this Toyota Tacoma. Must SMASH rocks! PULL HOUSE! SQUASH PUNY MUD!!! Augggghh!!!! YES! YESSS! Nathan SMASH!!!

Great… now Roman will never loan me the Raptor after seeing this. Still, do you blame me? Seeing a specimen like this brings out the man-man in me.

Thank you Mr. muddy-crushed-jacked Toyota Tacoma owner, you have restored my faith in truck owners!

Do you have a photo of a “properly” used pickup truck? Do you think the driver yelled “SMASH!” while blasting through rocks and mud? Send it to us! How do you use your Toyota pickup truck?

    Speaking of a “proper” truck…

    1. Nothing wrong with a little dirt, grime, dings and scratches on a work pickup but when it’s completely covered in mud and all panels are smashed in it is no longer a work truck. It’s a toy that doesn’t belong on the road, IMO. I have a mud drenched toy covered in sap and other nasty trail junk but I keep that pile in the back where it belongs and trailer it to the mud hole.
Maybe for those who live in the country but somehow can’t afford or don’t want to afford a practical road vehicle it makes sense to drive around in a smashed up jalopy? heck i dunno
