The 2015 Chevy Reaper is one interpretation of a desert racing truck with a luxurious flair. This upgraded Chevy Silverado has the Fox Racing suspension setup and more than enough power coming from a choice of 5.3L or 6.2L Magnuson TSV1900 Supercharged V8s. It also has 20 inch wheel and LED auxiliary and running lights to add to a more upscale look.
Southern Comfort is the company putting together these custom trucks with the help from Lingenfelter and their supercharging and engine modification expertise.
The truck has been in development for some time, but it’s now reaching dealership lots around the country and the world. You can find a participating dealer by going to reaperperformanceusa.com or simply stop by if you see the truck. The company says that dealers are happy to report that the Reaper is attracting customers into the showroom, who are very curious about this customized pickup.
The press release does not say anything about pricing or the horsepower specifications. However, it does say that all modifications part of the Reaper package carry a 36,000 mile warranty.
Is it a Ford Raptor fighter? We sent several requests to Southern Comfort and Lingenfelter for a test Reaper, but have not heard back.
