2014 Ford F-150 CNG 0-60 MPH Towing Test: Gas vs Natural Gas [Video]

2014 Ford F-150 CNG

The 2014 Ford F-150 CNG has a standard 3.7L V6 engine, but what makes it unique is that it runs on either traditional gasoline or compressed natural gas (CNG) which is a less expensive and cleaner burning fuel. This also helps give this truck an astounding range of between 800 and 1,300 miles (depending on the size of the CNG tank). It’s got 302 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque with a 6-speed automatic transmission, but how fast will each fuel take the truck from 0-60 MPH?

Watch as we run the 2014 Ford F-150 CNG through a 0-60 MPH test, with and without towing a boat, in both CNG and traditional gasoline mode to see which is faster.  We also give you TFLtruck “Makers and Breakers” for this pickup.
