Jimmy Fallon of Tonight Show has finally made the choice on which pickup truck to purchase, and it is the 2015 Ford F-150 King Ranch. You read that correctly, Jimmy will purchase the pickup. Apparently, it’s not a gift. However, he does not know from whom yet. The all-new 2015 F-150 goes on sale in the Fall of this year, and just in time for the Tonight Show host to carry pumpkins around. This was one of the deciding factors in his purchase. Jimmy must be able to carry a lot of pumpkins.
TFLtruck recommended that he purchase a Ford SVT Raptor, but we understand why Jimmy wants to get the completely redesigned 2015 F-150. The new truck is lighter weight thanks for all aluminum body construction. It has several segment exclusive features, including: all LED headlights, surround view cameras, panoramic sunroof, remote operated tailgate, and more. It should also be quiet quick and more efficient with a selection of EcoBoost turbocharged engines.
Jimmy decided to have a contest to select the Ford dealership for his purchase. Around a dozen salespeople from dealerships around the country with come to New York City to participate in the “Fingers on a 4×4” contest. A 2015 F-150 will be placed onto USS Intrepid aircraft carrier/museum in New York. All contestants will put a hand on the truck, and the person who keep their hand there the longest will get to make the sale. It sounds crazy and a bit cruel, but it should be fun to watch.
