Compressed natural gas burns cleaner and can be more cost effective.  Enter the 2014 Ford F-150 CNG.  This SuperCab 4×4 model is outfitted with the large compressed gas tank, which is located in the bed.  The driver can select whether to run on natural gas or regular gasoline, E85 is not allowed in the 3.7L V6 that powers this Ford.  If the truck runs out of CNG, it will automatically turn over to gasoline.  The large gas tank does take considerable room in the bed (it’s about 27 inches deep), and the toolbox space on top is nearly non-existent.
