The Fast Lane team was at the Nissan 360 event and saw this bright red 5.0-liter turbo diesel Cummins V8 engine on display. There is a lot of controversy surrounding this powerplant. The engine is slated to be used in the 2015 Nissan Titan pickup truck, and marks the first application of the Cummins diesel outside of the Dodge/Ram brands for light duty vehicles.
Will the production engine be painted in the same bright red? And how come this display engine does not have a serpentine belt?
